ABOUT i-QAS
The Innovative Quantitative Analytics Solutions (i-QAS) is a competition for undergraduate students at the School of Quantitative Sciences (SQS), Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), with the aim of promoting the utilisation and application of quantitative and analytical methods in diverse real situations that need attention for solutions. Undoubtedly, the i-QAS promotes the participants' exploration of the usage and strength of mathematics in solving real-life problems.
The participants are encouraged to develop the appropriate mathematical models, apart from enhancing their ability and effort to visualise, understand, and interpret the problem of concern, whether it is industrial-based, community-based, or environmental-based. Hence, it is the goal of i-QAS to provide a valuable opportunity and platform for the practical demonstration of in-class learning and theory into meaningful actions and impacts.
